The Qigong Summit 2000 in Washington, DC was a tremendous success.
The Summit received:
Proclamation from the City of Washington declaring April 22, 2000 as National Qigong Day.
Letters came from the US Senate and the American Medical Association, World Health Organization and others...
The Qigong martial arts group will be joined with performers from China to do the "Sword Ring" and
many other feats.
- The Thailand Chi Kung Association has joined us to celebrate World Qigong Week to promote the
awareness of Eastern healing and meditation techniques.
- Romania has just declared Nov 15 - 19 as Qigong Week. The Minister of Youth and Sports is
attending the opening ceremony on November 15, in Bucharest.
- Mayor Willie Brown declaring November 15 - 19, 1999 as World Qigong Week.
- The international "Tao of Drumming" music group will be performing at the Saturday
night Gala.
- Presenting a series of Health seminars by Dr. Chow and the Chow Qigong Ottawa group. They
include:
- June 02, 2000 - Allergy & Asthma
- July 21, 2000 - Pain Management
- Aug. 11, 2000 - Physical Disability
- Sept.15, 2000 - Stress Managment
- Oct. 20, 2000 - Depression
- Nov. 24, 2000 - Increased Energy & Peak Performance
- June 9-11, 2000 - Keynote speaker at the International Conference on Healing, hosted by the
Qitaky Qigong Association in Romania.
- Dr. Chow has estalished a series of training program on the Chow Integrated System of Healing
and client consultation in Wichita, Kansas at the International Center for the Improvement of Human Function - Host Doctor is Hugh Rierdan, MD. Scheduled dates include:

- May 9, 2000 - Keynote speaker at the Second World Congress on Home Care in Vienna. Topic:
Chinese Medicine & Qigong.
- April 20-23, 2000 - Chairperson at the Qigong Summit 2000 in Washington,D.C. Received
"Visionary of the Decade" and "Year 200: Qigong Promoter of the Year" Awards.
- April 1, 2000 - Dr. Chow will be leading a workshop for the Parkinson's Society of Ottawa

- March 14, 2000 - Dr. Chow will be the featured speaker for Summit Medical Center's annual
Joseph Picchi, M.D. Memorial Lecture Series from 5:30 - 7:30 pm in the Summit Health Education Center, 400 Hawthorne in Oakland.
- March 6-12, 2000 Dr. Chow will be a speaker at the International Psychology of Health,
Immunity and Disease Conference. Hilton Head, South Carolina

National Homecare Association Conference in San Diego. 5,000+ people attended.
